Best of all, with these recipes none of your cream will go to waste, making your kitchen just a little bit more sustainable. So, whichever carton you’ve got in your refrigerator, you’ll find that it comes in handy for classic recipes such as ice cream, pie filling and chocolate mousse ― as well as savory dishes like crêpes, frittatas and more. Using a hand mixer or a stand mixer with the whisk attachment, beat the whipping cream for 5 to 10 minutes. (Fun fact: heavy cream and heavy whipping cream are the exact same product!).
